Temp mail

A temporary email you can open without an account

Temp mail is a short-lived address for a signup, a receipt, or a code you need once. SarabMail mints one in the browser, shows the message in a sandbox, and deletes the inbox when the timer ends.

What you actually get

The address lives on a mail domain from the public pool. sarabmail.com is the website, the docs, and the support mailbox. It is not the domain of the temporary address.

A free guest inbox lasts 1 hour. Plus keeps mail for up to 30 days. Pro can keep an inbox until you delete it. There is no send button and no outbound mail server, so this address cannot reply or relay.

How a message is shown

Leave the inbox tab open. Mail sent to the address shows up on the page. You can copy the address, pick another public domain, or choose the part before the @ sign.

Remote images stay blocked until you ask to load them, which keeps a tracking pixel from firing on its own. Scripts are removed, and the HTML is shown in a framed sandbox.

Keep anything you must not lose off this address

Password resets, banking, medical mail, and anything you may need next month belong on an inbox you control. A temporary email is for mail you can stand to lose.

Some sites refuse known disposable domains. That is their rule. For an account you expect to recover, use an address that will still exist when you need it.

Where a temporary email earns its keep

A code you need once

Paste the address, read the verification message, and let the inbox expire when you are done.

A trial or a download

The follow-up mail stays off the inbox you actually read. The address does not become a permanent contact.

A form you will not answer

Classifieds, one-off quotes, and Wi-Fi gates often want an address. Give them one you can drop.

Questions about temporary email

Is temporary email the same as temp mail?

Yes. Both names mean an address that exists for a short time and is not your personal inbox. SarabMail is that kind of mailbox.

How long does the free address last?

The free guest inbox on this site lasts 1 hour. Plus stores mail for up to 30 days, and Pro can keep an inbox until you delete it. The durations are listed on the pricing page.

Can I send mail from it?

No. SarabMail only receives mail. It cannot be used to send, reply, or relay.

Do I need an account?

No. The address is tied to this browser. An API key is a separate step, and you only need one if software will create the inbox.
